Sculptures
My sculptures are influenced by classical and renissance sculpture. I use a traditional, hand-sculptured, mythical figure, either from ancient stories or a myth of my own creation as a starting point.
Then, I add symbolic and frequently disturbing elements to convey a concept or emotion. The end result is a sculpture that has the beauty and approachability of traditional sculpture, with a deeper meaning for those who choose to look for it.
